8 Best Multi-Use Systems For Your Home Gym (2024 Updated)

Are you looking to buy a multi-use system for your home gym? I don't know about you, but it's overwhelming to see so many options. What's the difference? Well, I'm here to tell you that. Below I have 8 different multi-use home gyms, I've broken down what all of them do, and what separates them from the others.

8 Best Multi-Use Systems For Your Home Gym

Here are the 8 Multi-use gyms we used.

1. Body-Solid G5S Single Stack Gym

This is the cheapest pin-loaded machine on the market.

This Machine offers a chest press with three different handles. If you flip around and adjust this chest press, it can turn into a mid-row.

It also has a pec dec, which can be used in reverse as well to hit your rear delts. Leg extension and leg curls can be done on the leg station. The mid-height pulley allows for ab crunches and neck curls. The high cable allows for lat pulldowns and tricep pushdowns.

Lastly, the low cable can be used for a low row, and a curl station. These are all connected to one weight stack of 210 pounds.

If you're looking for the best bang for your buck out of a pin-loaded machine, this is your answer.

2. Body-Solid Corner Multi Leverage Gym

This is the cheapest plate-loaded machine on the market.

Using a removable bench, this Multi-Gym opens up the opportunity for many more exercises.

With the bench, you can perform an incline, flat, and decline chest press. If you set the bench flat, you can slide your legs into the knee rest to keep you in place for a lat pulldown. Once you remove the bench, more options open up.

There is a low cable that can be used for rows or curls. And the bar you were just using for a chest press can now become a squat bar. Lower the bar more and you can perform deadlifts and shrugs.

This multi-use machine is truly the best bang for your buck plate-loaded machine. Plate weights are not included.

3. Body-Solid Series 7 Smith Gym

The difference maker for this multi-gym is the addition of the smith machine.

The smith machine allows you to worry less about balance, and more about targeting the desired muscle. The bench is adjustable and removable. It allows for smith machine incline and flat bench press, also free barbell incline/flat bench press.

For free weight bench press, the rack has 14 racking slots, and adjustable heavy-duty safeties. The bench also has a leg station on the end for leg extensions and leg curls.

As far as cables, there is one high and one low. The high one can be used for lat pulldown and tricep extensions. The low one can be used for low rows and bicep curls. To top things off, this machine also includes a pec dec in the back.

If you love hitting chest, this machine is for you!

4. Body-Solid Pro Clubline S1000 Four-Stack Gym

Yes, you read that right. 4 stacks. This multi-gym has a lot to talk about. 4 stacks means that 4 different people can use the machine all at once, on separate stacks.

Side 1 has a full leg press.

Side 2 has leg extension, leg curl, chest press, incline press, mid cable, ab crunch, and neck curl. It has loose handles on the end of the chest press, so you can use them and get more of a free, less isolated chest press.

Side 3 is focused on the back. It has a low and high cable system, with a bench to sit on. The high cable can be used for lat pulldowns, the low cable is for low rows.

The 4th and final side is a full-range cable system. 20+ pin locations. We'd be here all day if we named every possible exercise you could do with this, but I'll name a couple you can do. Almost all bicep curl and tricep extension variations, lat pullovers, front raises, and side raises.

This is truly the best machine out there if you're looking for one multiple people can use at once.

5. Body-Solid Bi-Angular Gym

This machine excels in many ways, but two main ones stick out. The first is the separated leg extension/leg curl machine. It has its own seat off to the side just for these two movements. Sometimes it seems these machines dont put any emphasis on these 2 movements, but this machine changes that.

The second thing that stands out is the technology used to make the chest press. It can be adjusted to turn into an incline and shoulder press. This ads so much value to this machine.

Other things the Bi-Angular Gym offers are three different cable locations(high, middle, and low). These can be used for lat pulldowns, tricep extensions, ab crunches, neck curls, low rows, and bicep curls.

Lastly this machine offers a pec dec that can be used in reverse as well. This machine truly goes above and beyond and is a great choice for your home gym.

6. Body-Solid Freeweight Multi Leverage Gym

I mean this as a compliment, this machine has a lot going on. And when we're talking about fitting in as many workouts as possible, it's a good thing to have a lot going on. This plate-loaded machine offers lots of room to load all your weights on.

Starting with the first side, we have a standing squat. This movement isn't on too many other multi-gyms.

The 2nd side features more rare pieces, like a preacher curl. It also has a mid cable for ab crunches, and handles above you to do pulldowns.

For the 3rd side, this multi-gym comes with an unattached adjustable bench. That's because this side is all about the chest. A big bar with handles and places to load the weights on can be adjusted along with your bench to perform an incline chest press or flat chest press.

What sets this machine apart from others is the specific movements it offers, along with the amount of weight you can load on. I would say this is more for advanced lifters.

7. Body-Solid Fusion 600 Personal Trainer

This multi-use machine has two unique points on it.

Most multi-use machines just give you a high and low cable for your back workouts. But this machine has a mid-row built-in. It has close and horizontal grips to target different parts of your back as well.

The second is the cable arms that sit behind you that can be used for a cable chest press. This provides a different type of movement for the chest, one that many other machines don't offer.

This machine also features a leg curl, leg extension, and a high cable for lat pulldowns and tricep extensions.

8. Steelflex MG300B Multi-Gym

This three-stack gym features 4 sides, three loaded with weight and one for bodyweight exercises.

Side one offers a chest press that can be adjusted and reversed into a mid-row. row. On the end of the seat is a leg extension and leg curl as well.

Side two is the bodyweight side where you can do dips, pullups, and leg raises.

Side three is a leg press. You could also use this to do calf raises.

The 4th side features a double pulley system. You can use one at a time, or both at the same time. This could lead you to do an almost endless list of exercises and is truly useful.
